VW Camper Van hire - Campers in Cornwall history

Kim and Roger (started as a married couple and now have 2 young children) established Campers in Cornwall in 2005, specialising in VW camper van hire for people wanting to use vans in Cornwall and the South West. When we started we were among 2 or 3 companies offering Classic VW camper hire in the UK, the number of companies hiring campers has grown enormously as the vans have widen their appeal to a more affluent, trendy customer. We wanted to offer VW campers for people to hire to enjoy the South West and especially the beautiful coastline that surrounds us. Roger has a long history of owning and running air cooled vehicles from his VW 2.4 litre Beetle trials car to his pride and joy a Porsche 911 993. Kim enjoys running the company, its great to see people having a great time enjoying the VW's and chilling in Cornwall. Many of our customers return for another holiday and even more end up purchasing their own VW Camper van having convinced the family / other half that they really are great. We have gradually built a small fleet of 5 Classic VW vans. When we started, we wanted to make the Classic VW camper hire experience as enjoyable and nostaglic as possible. To this end we have a range of Campers from our 1961 VW split screen camper 'Sherbie' to the youngest 1976 VW bay window 'George'. All our camper vans are right hand drive and have front disc brakes, making them easier and safer to drive.
