George

George is the green 1976 bay window. He is originally from Australia and we purchased him in July 2005 after he had been in Cornwall for 4 years.

He has a 2000cc engine with servo assisted brakes and we have fitted twin Dellorto carburettors. George has a complete Westfalia interior fitted.

George has a walk through from the front of the van to the rear and 3 rear seat belts (1 lap belt and 2 shoulder mounted inertia belts) as well as the 2 shoulder mounted front seat belts. George is the only camper that will allow you to use a rear facing child seat (in the front passenger seat).

There is a full width rock and roll double bed in the main body of the van and a full width 5ft 9” double bed in the roof when popped up plus a single hammock that stretches across the front seats.

There is a two ring gas burner and a single CD / MP3 player stereo that accepts iPod and MP3 player inputs. George also has an electric cool box under the sink.

George will sleep 4 adults & 1 child up to about 14 years old.

George is insured to carry 5 passengers with seat belts in the rear.
